Austin, TX here we come!

Awww yeah!

We just confirmed that we have been selected to play during SXSW 2007 in Austin, TX!
For those of you who don't know, South By Southwest
is one of the largest music conference's of it's kind in the world.
For one week everyone in the music industry goes to Austin to network,
preform and learn. Travis and I attended in '04,
and the connections we made then were amazing
and we were not even preforming!

A special thanks to our producer Chris Mara and
Jon at Tinderbox Music for help in making this happen for us!

We will be playing at the Chuggin' Monkey on
Friday, March 16th at 1pm as
part of the Red Gorilla Music Fest
.

So, what is this Red Gorilla Music Fest?
Basically, venues in Austin have to pay to be a part
of the SXSW festivities. Some venues realized that they
don't need to pay to have great shows during the biggest week
of the year for music. So, Red Gorilla helps these venues
run up the pirate flag on SXSW and book great music from around the globe.
We benefit by just being in Austin during this week,
plus getting a slot to preform is just icing on the cake!

As we get more info, so will you!

Damn good times...

Just wanted to take a second to say thank you to all who came out to
Andover last night for our Showcase at Pipers Pub.
Especially Mark and Jessica who are some of the best hosts...ever.
Hot damn was that a great time!
Thank you to all who made it the fun, out of control evening we here in Xerus like to have!
The jam sessions that took place after our sets
were some great fucking entertainment,
a lot of really great talent in the Pub last night!
Who knew our very own Scott Sachs could sing the blues so well?
Maybe it was the Crown doing the singing...
We hope to make it out there again soon!
Thanks again!
Photos from the event to be posted soon!

Rock Hard : Local Showcase

We have decided NOT to play the Rock Hard Showcase.

The biggest reason was that you, our fans,
had no interest in coming out on a Sunday afternoon
to a venue like the Dinkytowner, especially when
we could not even tell you what time we were going to play.

Further more we heard from bands that have
played these "Rock Hard Showcases"
before that they did not get paid for the tickets that they sold.

Good luck to the bands that are still on the bill,
we hope to share a stage with you all sometime.

..........................................................

This ALL AGES show starts at 4pm on Sunday,
February 11 at the Dinkytowner (412 1/2 14th Ave SE Minneapolis)

Here are the bands that will be rocking the stage that evening:
Cosa Nostra
Runlikego
The Julie Puppets
Klaus
Black Days Down
All Are Fallen Angels
First Night Back
